Sen. Elizabeth Warren addresses AFL-CIO convention
Senator Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts delivered a fiery speech Sunday to commence the annual AFL-CIO convention in Los Angeles. Included in the audience were representatives from the Sierra Club and NAACP. Warren?s speech called the largely waning labor movement to life, urging a push back against ?powerful interests? working against it. Audience members had an overwhelmingly positive reaction to Warren?s sentiments, giving the senator a standing ovation at the conclusion of her speech.
