Settlement Near in Grocery Strike
A settlement in the Southern California grocery strike could be reached as early as today. The new deal would reduce supermarket employees' health benefits and put newly hired workers on a lower-wage tier. Both sides have felt pressure to end the strike, which has dragged on for nearly 20 weeks.
