Several St. Louis fast food workers go on strike
Workers at more than 30 fast food restaurants in St. Louis walked off of the job on Thursday. The workers are asking for better wages and benefits and the right to form a union. The strike follows similar walk-outs in New York and Chicago. The strike included workers from McDonald's, Taco Bell, Hardee's and others. Workers are asking for $15 an hour in pay, with most currently making between minimum wage, $7.35 in Missouri, and $8 an hour. The workers will return to work on Friday.
