As a result, many unions and worker groups have been pushing for legislation to protect workers from harassment through the installation of panic buttons, but large businesses have spent millions of dollars to oppose such requirements. JC Resorts is one corporation that has heavily invested in opposition to panic button requirements; meanwhile, various law suits against JC Resorts are currently underway for sexual harassment complaints.
