Sierra Leone Ebola Hospital Staff Threaten Strike over Risk Pay
Support staff, nurses and doctors at a hospital in Sierra Leone announced that they might strike if they do not receive the risk allowance they are owed for working with Ebola infected patients. Up to 130 employees could participate in the strike, which would force the hospital to shut down. The employees claim that they have received no government support for treating Ebola patients.
