Silicon Valley: Perks for Some Workers, Struggles for Parents
While many tech companies provide benefits such as massages, hair cuts and dry cleaning, few start-up companies offer parental leave to their employees. Many of the employees who work for tech companies are in their twenties, so the older employees with families often receive backlash from their employers when requesting to take parental leave.
