Slowly Starting to Return, Evacuees Find a Road Less Traveled
Drivers hoping to return to work in Houston on Monday have been asked if they could extend their vacations until hurricane damange is assessed. The mayor of Houston, for instance, has asked businesses not to call their employees to work on Monday and Tuesday. The mayor also warned that returning might be unwise because it could be hard to find gasoline at stations along the highways and some neighborhoods in the city were still without power.
