Small-business jobs rise as economy improves
Statistics reported by payroll processor ADP show that hiring at small businesses has almost doubled in the last six months, reaching 82,000 jobs in July. Borrowing by small businesses has also increased, suggesting that employers are gaining back pre-recession confidence. The positive statistics are giving analysts insight as to how healthcare reform is impacting hiring; suggesting that the employer mandate has thus far not deterred hiring as feared.
