Amid the great resignation small businesses are really taking a hit. With the holiday season approaching, shoppers have flooded back with record spending. Large retailers like Walmart and Amazon now say they're fine for the holidays after massive hiring campaigns, triple digit signing bonuses, higher wages, and more. Small business owner Mark Sherman said despite raising wages and spending months advertising, workers just aren’t coming in. Another small business owner made T shirts for his employees that read, “The whole world is short staffed right now, be kind to those who showed up."
