Starbucks Accused of Firing Outspoken Barista
A new charge filed with the National Labor Relations Board alleges the Starbucks Corporation fired one of its employees for participating in a protest at one of the coffee giant's Manhattan chains. The latest charge comes with the company already under fire for allegedly restricting employees for discussing or supporting attempts to unionize the coffed chain in charges brought before the board last April. A hearing is set for July 9th on all of the charges.
