The list of chains increasing their wage to stay relevant in the competition for workers is steadily growing. Costco has raised its minimum wage to $17 an hour starting earlier this week and Starbucks is set to raise their minimum pay to $15 an hour in January. Starbucks has also announced a $200 referral bonus and current staff raises up to 10% depending on how long they’ve worked for the company.
