Starbucks fires 7 workers involved with labor activity
On Tuesday Starbucks fired seven employees at a Memphis store who were seeking unionization. Starbucks claims that they fired the workers for violating company safety and security policies. Workers had allowed media representatives inside the store after hours and some were seen not wearing masks among other violations. Starbucks Workers United claims that Starbucks is retaliating against the workers for their labor activities.
