Starbucks is going to increase wages and training but not for unionized workers
On Tuesday, Starbucks’ CEO announced that the company will be raising wages and expanding training for workers but only in non-unionized stores. They will also not apply to stores in the process of trying to unionize. The pay increases would be at least 5% for employees of two to five years and at least 7% for employees of more than five years. They will also double training hours for new workers.
