State Employers Reaping Benefits of Workers' Comp Overhaul
Premiums for workers' compensation policies have fallen an average of 26.5 percent in California following two years of overhauling the state's system for providing benefits to injured workers. Though the increased competition among insurers is helping to financially stabilize the program, critics contend that the reforms have left many injured workers without adequate medical care.
