Strike Averted at Nation's Largest Produce Wholesaler
On Wednesday in South Bronx, employees of Hunts Point Market will vote on a new contract agreement. Workers nearly went on strike during negotiations of the new contracts. These 1,300 workers, who are represented by the Teamsters, are demanding fair wages.
