Strike-hit Finnair says flying more planes
Finnair, which was hit by a strike starting on Tuesday, has been forced to cancel more than 500 flights. The airline announced that it expects to fly around 40% of its flights in the next few days due to the return of some of its cabin crew. The flight attendants are striking over wage issues. The strike also affected another airline, who reached a deal on Wednesday that restored operations to normal. Finnair has estimated that it would lose somewhere between $2.6 million and $3.3 million for every day of the strike.
