Striking Seattle Teachers Poised to Return to Classroom
Teachers in Seattle, who walked off the job last Wednesday, will now return to the classrooms on Thursday. The teachers and the school board have come to an agreement on a new contract for the 5,300 support staff and teachers on strike. The striking employees had not received a cost-of-living wage increase in over six years.
