Study Examines Why Black Americans Remain Scarce in Executive Suites
Diversity and inclusion has been a critical issue for many corporations. However, despite concerted efforts to increase levels of diversity and inclusion the number of African-Americans holding executive positions at Fortune 500 companies remains low. The Center for Talent Innovation has produced a report titled “Being Black in Corporate America” that examines workplace diversity at large companies. The report sites various reasons such as the “Black Millenial Brain Drain” as reasons for the lack of diversity.
