?Summer Strikes? Ahead: Intense Conflicts between Labor and Management in Auto Industry
Workers at South Korea's Renault Samsung plant went on a partial strike Monday after the company and the worker's union were unable to strike a deal last week. Workers are seeking an increase in the company's base salary, as well as incentives. General Motors' Korea plant is facing similar troubles, threatening the overall productivity of the country's auto industry.
