Survey shows that Black workers are seeking new job opportunities
In a recent survey conducted by the Society for Human Resource Management it was revealed that Black workers are more likely than white workers to actively seek new job opportunities. In this survey of about 2,000 U.S. workers, Black workers were 17% more likely to go back to a job that they already quit and nearly 6 in 10 workers said they are waiting to receive their annual bonus before leaving their current job. A senior VP who deals with DEI said, “Listen to your black employees. They need to know you genuinely care about their needs, acknowledge their unique experiences and that you are ready to take meaningful action when necessary.”
