Target will offer debt-free education to its workers
Target has announced a debt free assistance program that will compete with their rival Walmart. Target has said they will invest $200 million over the next four years to offer their part time and full-time frontline workers a free education with select undergraduate degrees and certificates. For workers pursuing degrees outside of the program’s choices, Target will provide payments of up to $5,250 for non-master’s degrees and up to $10,000 for master’s degrees each year to the worker’s academic institutions.
