Teachers’ union switches their stance on vaccine mandates
U.S. teachers' unions is shifting their perspective on vaccine mandates. As more children, who are unable to be vaccinated, fall ill with COVID-19 across the country, the AFT teacher's union says they support mandated vaccinations. The president of the American Federation of Teachers says that “this is a matter of personal conscience,” in reference to their change in position. According to the White House, 90% of educators and school staff are vaccinated.
