Teamsters have been involved in negotiations with Allegiant air, however yesterday the Teamsters asked the National Mediation Board asked to be released from negotiations. If their request is granted, members of the union may go on strike within the next 30 days. At this point, negotiations are scheduled to resume on October 26th. By Law, the Teamsters can only strike if the National Mediation Board deems further negotiations to be pointless.
