Tech Bust Zaps Interest in Computer Careers
With fears of unemployment and outsourcing looming, enrollment in computer science programs has declined at schools across the nation. This comes at a time when the Labor Department projects that the number of jobs for computer software engineers will grow 46% from 2002 to 2012, leading to fears that there will be a shortage of qualified domestic tech workers.
