Some are skeptical about increasing the number of foreign workers in high-skilled technology jobs, saying that it may push American workers out of those jobs, but companies say that they cannot find qualified people to fill those roles. Others worry about exploitation of workers on temporary visas. Current plans for immigration reform would include increasing the number of visas for high-skilled workers.
