Tech grads find slim pickings, but other fields recovering
The outsourcing of computer programming and customer service jobs to low-wage countries like China and India have made jobs in the tech industry hard to come by for college graduates. However, there is good news for students in other fields. The National Association of Colleges and Employers is forecasting a 12.7 percent jump in hiring this year. The most promising sectors to find employment in are finance, health care, advertising and government.
