The best and worst cities for jobs this fall
A survey conducted by the employment services firm ManpowerGroup among employers in 100 U.S. Metropolital Stastical Areas (MSAs) provides insight into the hiring outlook for the third quarter. Based on the results, 18 percent of the employers surveyed plan to increase payrolls during the next three months; while a total of eight percent plan on decreasing staff. The survey pinpointed the Houston-Sugar Land-Baytown, Texas area as the country?s number one hot-spot for hiring this fall; followed by the Cape Coral-Fort Myers, Florida and Greenville-Mauldin-Easley, South Carolina areas.
