Sequencing - having a job, leaving a job to care for young children, then returning to the work world once again - has been a viable option for many women who struggle with balancing their careers and family life. Many women attempting to reenter the workforce are now finding structural barriers to their return. Companies are beginning to evaluate these barriers to find ways to incorporate these experienced, qualified employees back into the workforce.
