According to our press release from Governor Kathy Hochul, the New York State Division of Human Rights has filed a complaint against Amazon for allegedly failing to reasonably accommodate pregnant and disabled workers. The release included examples of the company refusing to adhere to accommodations and denying them altogether. The New York State Division of Human Rights will now investigate and determine if there will be a hearing. Amazon could face civil fees and penalties.
