The South emerges as jobs haven
The South is currently leading the nation in job creation. This economic growth is impressive considering the thousands of manufacturing and technology jobs lost in recent years. Low-wage rates, "right-to-work" laws and a growing population have contributed to the economic boom. Strategic investments in industry and a rise in entrepreneurship are also driving the economy.
