The Use of Experience Design in the Workplace
KPMG is an international accounting, tax, and advisory firm. KPMG has recently developed the KPMG Lakehouse, an 800,000-square-foot training complex in Orlando, Florida. The KPMG Lakehouse serves as a professional development and innovation hub for the firm’s 32,000 US-based employees and partners. The KPMG Lakehouse offers many amenities for an ideal learning retreat such as the 800 single-occupancy guest rooms, 90 classrooms and innovation labs, 1,000-seat auditorium, 15,000-sq-ft gym, and its impressive views of Orlando’s Lake Nona. But what makes KPMG Lakehouse unique is its use of “experience design” to aid in fostering an organizational culture.
