The Workplace: Retirees can't bank on pensions
Though pension problems abound in the United States, workers in other countries are preparing themselves for smaller benefit payouts in coming years. In Europe, complicated pension systems seek to offer retirees generous compensation at the end of their careers, yet it is clear that this generation of workers will receive far less money than their parents.
