On Wednesday, ThinkProgress published a post on their website announcing that it had plans to unionize under the Writers Guild of America East. These employees are seeking improved working conditions and a higher wage. ThinkProgress has been very financially stable and is planning to hire more employees. Other websites such as Vice and Salon, and Gawker have recently unionized under the Writers Guild of America East.
