50,000 protesters demonstrated in Spain today, demanding greater job security. The protest, which is the first of three in Europe, was organized by labor unions and occurred in Madrid. Other demonstrations are scheduled for Brussels and Prague on Friday and Saturday respectively. The event combined labor unions from across Europe to fight for more jobs, better jobs, and social justice.
