Tough Talk from Shell, Union as Refinery Pay Talks Resume
After three days on strike, employees sat down with Royal Dutch Shell Plc to negotiate pay increases associated with a new contract. With oil prices falling nearly fifty percent over the last 6 months, oil companies are resisting losing more profits to wage increases. The union is demanding wage increases of 6 percent.
