Trade Hotel union fight is at a standstill. Trump's changes to national labor board a factor
A dispute over unionization at The Trade Hotel in Milwaukee remains unresolved, with both sides blaming delays on each other and the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). Workers voted against joining the Milwaukee Area Service and Hospitality (MASH) union, but MASH claims the election was unfair and has filed unfair labor practice charges against hotel operator NCG Hospitality. The NLRB is investigating, but changes in leadership under Trump’s second term could impact the case’s outcome. With the NLRB board currently unable to rule on appeals, pro-labor policies from the previous administration may also be reversed.
