Trump hotels reach deal with unions, ending labor board cases
Trump International Hotel Las Vegas has reached a four-year agreement with its food and beverage and housekeeping workers, represented by the Unite Here Culinary Workers Union Local 226. The employees were granted annual raises, as well as both healthcare and pension plans. The collective bargaining agreement thus settled the workers' claims that the President-elect's hotels violated federal labor law. Many had questioned whether the NLRB cases would present a conflict of interest for President-elect Trump due to his influence on the board.
