Trump Meets Labor Union Heads and Promises to Build
President Trump met with several prominent labor leaders to reinforce his plan to expand funding for the nation's public infrastructure. Union presidents such as Terry O'Sullivan of the Laborers' International Union of North America, Joseph Sellers of the SMART sheet metal workers' union, Doug McCarron of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters, and Mark McManus of United Association were present on the hour-long conference call. President Trump also restated his plan to penalize companies who do not bring their manufacturing jobs back to America.
