Trump to Name ex-labor board member Acosta as Labor Secretary
Andy Puzder withdrew from being considered to become President Trump's labor secretary yesterday following a lack of support from both parties. Puzder once hired an undocumented worker and is facing domestic abuse allegations. Trump has since stated he will nominate Alexander Acosta, former NLRB member, as the new labor secretary nominee. Acosta has also worked as the U.S. attorney for the Southern District of Florida. He has already been vetted by the U.S. Senate several times, and it is unlikely that this second nomination will be unsuccessful.
