Trump will remake agency that ruled against his Vegas hotel
President-elect Donald Trump will be given the task of appointing 3 new National Labor Relations Board members within the next year. The board, which is made up of 5 total members, recently ruled against Trump in regards to his Las Vegas hotel. The NLRB ruled that Trump’s hotel must bargain with employees who voted in favor of unionization last year. President-elect Trump’s lawyers consequently filed a federal case to challenge the decision. Unite Here, who is representing both the Culinary Workers union and the Bartenders union at the hotel, is concerned that Trump will appoint a more conservative NLRB while also creating a conflict of interest.
