Turns Out MLS Never Finalized 2010-14 Labor Deal
Unions are currently finalizing negotiations with Major League Soccer teams, which will establish contracts that are valid through 2019. Players on the teams have been employed without a collective bargaining agreement for the past five years. The new agreement will lead to a wage increase for players, but will reduce the teams roster size from 30 to 28 players.
