Marvin Kaplan, William Emanuel, and Doug Seaton are the top picks on Trump's shortlist for NLRB members. All three are lawyers: Kaplan is a member of the OSHRC and Emanuel and Seaton represent the employer side in labor law disputes. Seaton recently stated a desire to bring the NLRB decisions away from its current left-leaning stance. The NLRB committee, once formed, will be tasked with ruling on 'micro-unit' unionization and employer liability in joint employment cases.
