Two Large Unions Reach Agreement to End Feud
In a rare sign of unity among current labor unions, two of the largest unions have agreed to end their feud over membership. The American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees and the Service Employees International Union have called a truce regarding membership poaching, pledging not to compete with each other over union organizing. The pact may be a signal that a divided labor movement will work in conjunction, instead of looking to steal other unions' members.
