Two Major Italy Unions Call Strike Over Government Economic Policies
On Wednesday, two large unions in Italy, UIL and CGIL, announced that they would go on strike in protest of the new labor laws that would make labor laws more relaxed. These two unions combined represent about 8.2 million Italian workers. This new plan will allow employers to discharge workers more easily.
