Two Unions Push for Resignation of Armstrong From Citi's Board
The AFL-CIO and the American Federation for State, County and Municipal Employees sent a letter to the Chairman of Citigroup asking for the replacement of director C. Michael Armstrong. The unions say that they would like to see a director who is more fiscally responsible and accountable for the losses of the firm. A statement from Armstrong said that he iks used to criticism from the unions and criticized them for special treatment in the health care bill. The two unions previously pushed for Armstrong's replacement as chair of the audit committee.
