U.A.W. Members Are Said to Reject Fiat Chrysler Contract
Initial results indicate the a majority of Fiat Chrysler's 36,000 employees have voted to reject a new four-year contract. The workers were not satisfied that the contract outlined no plan to move workers up to "top-wage status" and had no limit on the number of low-paid workers. This is the first time in over 20 years that workers of Fiat Chrysler have turned down an agreement negotiated by their union, the United Automobile Workers.
