U.S. Adds 195,000 Jobs; Unemployment Remains 7.6%
A report released by the Labor Department on Friday said that the economy added 195,000 jobs last month. The numbers exceeded economists' expectations for the month, a healthy sign for the rebounding U.S. economy. The report also said that the unemployment rate for last month held steady at 7.6 percent. June's upward trending numbers for spring indicate that the Fed will likely begin to slow down its stimulus efforts.
