U.S. employees quit and demand more from their employers
People are quitting their jobs in record numbers and economists say this is a sign of the nation's economic reawakening as the pandemic slows. Workers are quitting for a slew of reasons including a lack of flexibility from their current employees, lackluster pay, and the vast options for gaining new employment due to the current labor shortage. The pandemic has made employees realize they want more from their workplaces and this current economic recovery is giving them more bargaining power than normal.
