U.S. Extends Its Run of Strong Job Growth Another Month
According to the Labor Department, the economy added 227,000 jobs in February, the third month of gains over 200,000. The unemployment rate remained at 8.3%, and around 500,000 discouraged workers rejoined the workforce. Economists say that the economy is slowly recovering, and that the report is goods news. They say that it will take time for the economy to fully recover, but that the country is on the right track.
