U.S. Job Growth Slows Sharply in June
According to Labor Department figures, employers added only 112,000 jobs in the month of June, far fewer than the 250,000 forecast. Service industries experienced all of the job growth while the manufacturing sector lost 11,000 jobs.
The unemployment rate remained unchanged at 5.6 percent.
